You will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry and consultation to system design and closing the sale, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to articulate complex technical information in an accessible manner. You will conduct in-depth consultations, both virtually and in-person, to assess energy consumption, tailor customized solutions, and provide accurate cost-benefit analyses. Key Responsibilities
- Engage prospective customers about Tesla's solar energy products, Powerwall, and EV charging solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive energy consultations to understand customer needs, explain product features, and recommend tailored energy solutions.
- Design customized solar energy systems and Powerwall configurations using Tesla's proprietary tools.
- Generate new leads through various channels, including referrals, community outreach, and local events.
- Manage a pipeline of prospective customers, meticulously tracking progress using CRM software.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, addressing customer concerns and objections effectively.
- Stay current with Tesla's product offerings, competitive landscape, and industry trends in renewable energy.
- Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
- Represent Tesla with professionalism and embody our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Environmental Science).
