Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of materials, parts, and finished goods between facilities, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to transportation regulations.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates and resolving any transit issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, warehousing, procurement, service) to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities within the company's systems.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other required paperwork.
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to secure favorable terms and services.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistical operations and reduce operational costs.
  • Respond to and resolve logistics-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international shipping and customs regulations.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of transportation modes, shipping regulations, and international trade compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
