Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to internal records, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
  • Prepare creditor reconciliations for review by senior finance staff.
  • Assist with the preparation of payment batches for approval.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor master files and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment queries and discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls relating to accounts payable.
  • Support the finance department with various administrative tasks as required.
