As a Meta Video Editor, you will be instrumental in bringing our brand stories, product launches, and community initiatives to life through captivating visual experiences. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of video post-production, from initial ingest and assembly to advanced color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and final delivery. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of pacing and rhythm, and the ability to adapt your style to various brand voices and target audiences.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, including marketing managers, content strategists, product designers, and fellow creatives, to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and impactful video assets. Your work will span across various formats, from short-form social media clips that grab attention instantly to longer-form documentary-style content that educates and inspires. Key Responsibilities
- Execute full video post-production processes, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with creative directors, marketing managers, and content strategists to develop engaging video concepts.
- Manage and organize media assets, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Incorporate feedback effectively to refine video projects and achieve desired creative outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and software advancements.
- Ensure all video content aligns with Meta's brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Optimize video content for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Reels, YouTube) and audience segments.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a fast-paced digital or advertising environment.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and delivery specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives through visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
