Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, as appropriate.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and organizational procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Utilize Microsoft project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Project for the web, Planner) to manage tasks and workflows.
- Champion best practices in project management and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically managing technical or software development projects.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working in a large, global technology company.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
