Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a designated product area, aligning with Google's overall strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify new opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Translate high-level concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and design teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX design, research, marketing, legal, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Launch new products and features, including developing go-to-market plans and working with marketing and PR teams.
- Monitor product performance, analyze data, and gather user feedback to iterate on features and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate product updates, performance metrics, and strategic direction to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Champion the user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, accessible, and delight our global user base.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, delivering highly successful software products from conception to launch.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex engineering challenges and trade-offs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed work environment.
- Experience in data-driven decision making and A/B testing methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
