Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and place packages accurately and efficiently according to Amazon's operational procedures.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and systematically, ensuring packages are secured for transit.
- Scan packages using handheld devices, verify contents, and update inventory systems.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies) in a safe and responsible manner (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure daily productivity and quality targets are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to package handling or equipment, escalating as necessary.
- Adhere to strict deadlines to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
