Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily inventory management tasks, including receiving, sorting, stocking, and organizing products according to established procedures.
- Conduct accurate cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain exceptional inventory accuracy levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly, reporting significant issues to leadership for further action.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely and efficiently after proper training and certification (if applicable).
- Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems proficiently to track inventory movement, update records, and generate reports.
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or misplaced inventory items, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to optimize inventory processes and workflow.
- Assist with inbound and outbound logistics operations, including loading, unloading, and staging products, as required to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and take direction in English, ensuring clear communication.
- Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, and bending for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to comply with safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer navigation skills for operating inventory systems and related software.
- Commitment to punctuality and excellent attendance is essential for team success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
