Zoom is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic and remote-first team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization. You will leverage your expertise to analyze various data sources related to customer behavior, product usage, sales performance, and marketing campaign effectiveness within the expansive Zoom ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying key trends, creating comprehensive and intuitive reports, and developing interactive dashboards that provide critical insights to leadership and cross-functional teams, thereby enabling informed, data-driven decision-making. You will be instrumental in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of performance fluctuations, and developing predictive models to forecast future trends. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and automate robust dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends related to GTM performance, customer engagement, and product adoption.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Success) to understand data requirements and deliver tailored, actionable insights.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to investigate specific business questions, explore new data sources, and provide rapid, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various data sources, reporting tools, and internal systems.
- Participate actively in defining, tracking, and refining key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to strategic business goals.
- Present findings and insights clearly, concisely, and compellingly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, tailoring communication to the audience.
- Contribute to the establishment and adherence of data governance efforts, best practices for data management, and standardized reporting processes.
- Assist in the development and deployment of predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends, anticipate outcomes, and identify risks or opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Demonstrable experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create impactful dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote work environment.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) for data analysis and modeling.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and interpretation of results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems for extracting and analyzing sales data.
- Experience working with very large datasets and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
- Knowledge of Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, sales/marketing operations, and customer lifecycle management.
- Previous experience in the SaaS or technology industry, particularly with a focus on enterprise solutions.
- Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
