Fawry is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Giza. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for various company transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Organize and file financial documents securely and systematically, both digitally and physically.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries as needed.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Learn and effectively utilize accounting software and tools specific to Fawry’s operations.
- Adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial inquiries and discrepancies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interest in finance and accounting, with a desire for a career in this field.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data entry and analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems, software, and accounting processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, general ledger).
- Familiarity with any accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials) is a plus.
- Previous internship, volunteer, or academic project experience in a finance-related role.
