Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries, organize stock in the backroom, and transport merchandise to the sales floor.
- Accurately stock shelves, displays, and replenish product according to planograms and merchandising standards.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and clearly displayed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, including sweeping aisles, cleaning spills, and clearing cardboard/waste.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks and meet nightly operational targets.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Prepare the store for the next day's opening, ensuring aisles are clear and presentable.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry merchandise up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
