Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unload, sort, and store incoming deliveries from suppliers.
- Accurately replenish shelves, displays, and promotional areas with merchandise according to planograms and store standards.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced, clearly displayed, and easily accessible to customers.
- Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and in storage areas, reporting discrepancies or low stock items to management.
- Implement effective stock rotation (FIFO – First-In, First-Out) to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including stockrooms, aisles, and sales floors, adhering to all hygiene standards.
- Assist customers with product location, basic inquiries, and provide a positive shopping experience when on the sales floor.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or trolleys safely and efficiently, following proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve daily operational goals and ensure smooth store functioning.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise frequently (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses strong time management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a team.
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for stock counting and verification.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or warehouse stock replenishment role.
