Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties across all areas of the store, including sales floors, staff rooms, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to Tesco's high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Manage and maintain cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
- Respond promptly to spillages and other cleaning emergencies.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the management team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a clean and tidy working environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to waste management and recycling.
