Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with varying conditions.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Utilise a wide range of physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Provide clear and effective education to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment plan.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and seamless transitions.
- Maintain accurate, concise, and timely patient records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development activities.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
- Supervise junior staff, physiotherapy assistants, and students as appropriate.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).
- Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated clinical experience across a variety of specialties (e.g., musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar NHS or public health setting.
- Post-graduate training or certifications in a specialist area of physiotherapy.
