We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Downtown, Mishawaka. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense and check prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide expert medication counseling to patients, including information on drug interactions, side effects, and proper administration.
  • Manage and maintain drug inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage, while ensuring stock rotation and expiry date management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient care plans.
  • Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) reviews and offer clinical interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives, contributing to public health efforts within the community.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient and safe workflow.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest pharmaceutical advancements and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Pharmacist, preferably in a community or clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacology and therapeutics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with immunizations and other advanced pharmacy services.
  • Board certification in a relevant pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCGP).
