Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, patient-centered nursing care, strictly adhering to Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines and established NHS policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff, to optimize patient recovery and well-being.
  • Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, prescribed treatment plans, and essential self-care techniques.

Required Skills

  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A post-graduate qualification or specialist course completion in a relevant area (e.g., Critical Care, Emergency Nursing, Community Health).
  • Significant experience acquired within an acute hospital setting or specialist unit.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development (CPD) and commitment to lifelong learning.
  • A formal mentorship qualification or substantial experience in supervising and guiding junior nursing staff or students.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent.
