Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Support patients with mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Aid in feeding patients, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately.
- Document observations and escalate any concerns to qualified nursing staff promptly.
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures as directed and within scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients and colleagues.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a reassuring atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Adhere to all NHS policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
