Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees, both remotely and on-site.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations (laptops, desktops), mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and various applications, ensuring compliance with company security standards and policies.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across different internal IT systems and platforms.
  • Document IT support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and maintain accurate records of IT asset inventory.
  • Participate in the deployment, upgrade, and relocation of IT equipment across various departments.
  • Support IT inventory management processes, including ordering, tracking, receiving, and auditing IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior IT specialists and other technical teams on a variety of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT issues, escalating more complex problems to appropriate senior teams when necessary.
  • Contribute to maintaining a secure, stable, and highly efficient IT environment for all Allegro employees.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware components and basic troubleshooting techniques for PCs and laptops.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear customer/service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a diverse team.
  • A demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and adapt to evolving IT landscapes quickly.
  • Fluent in Polish (C1 level or higher) and a good working command of English (B1/B2 level).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals (e.g., MS-900), or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow) for issue tracking and resolution.
  • A foundational understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
  • Previous experience in a customer service, help desk, or technical support role.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and principles.
