Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Underwriters with the review and analysis of new business applications, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk summaries, proposals, and policy documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in underwriting systems and databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal departments to gather missing information or clarify policy details.
  • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of tasks to ensure timely processing of underwriting requests.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
  • Research and compile information on specific risks, industries, or market conditions as requested.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues or potential risks to Underwriters for review and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
