Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily dispatching activities for mail and parcel delivery fleet.
  • Develop efficient routes and schedules for drivers, optimizing delivery times and operational costs.
  • Monitor real-time progress of deliveries, tracking vehicles and communicating with drivers to ensure on-time performance.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, delays, or emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records, logs, and reports using specialized software.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, drivers, and external partners regarding delivery status and service updates.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for dispatch processes and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet management.
  • Proficiency in dispatching software and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
