Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Operations Analyst to join our team in Downtown Des Plaines. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for an individual passionate about e-commerce, operational efficiency, and leveraging the power of the Shopify platform. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize product listings, collections, and catalog data within the Shopify admin.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring seamless synchronization across sales channels.
- Oversee order processing, fulfillment workflows, and returns/exchanges, identifying and resolving any issues.
- Analyze website performance data, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior, to identify trends and opportunities.
- Implement and test new Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns, landing page creation, and content updates.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures for e-commerce activities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on Shopify platform functionalities.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify platform management (Shopify Plus experience a plus).
- Proficiency in e-commerce operations, including product management, inventory, orders, and fulfillment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or other web analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
