Bell Canada is urgently seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the West Side of Aurora, Ontario. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform statistical analysis and create predictive models to forecast future trends and assess potential impacts of business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into data analysis requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and data quality enhancement, contributing to the overall data strategy.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies and privacy regulations.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects, providing timely and accurate insights.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts and their application in business analysis.
