Job Description

Coles Group is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Store Supervisor to join our team in Southeast Boise. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for both customers and team members. You will oversee merchandise presentation, manage inventory, and enforce company policies, all while motivating and guiding your team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of retail assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met, addressing customer needs with a friendly and efficient approach.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and merchandise displays to maximize sales and ensure product availability.
- Handle cash management, daily reconciliations, and secure transactions with accuracy and integrity.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, operational targets, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role, preferably with 2+ years.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Experience with inventory management software and systems.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
