Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and receive deliveries, verifying accuracy against invoices and handling products with care.
- Systematically replenish shelves, displays, and chillers with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of stockroom and sales floor organization, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other manual handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with inventory counts, stocktake procedures, and identifying discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily stocking goals and support overall store operations.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-compliant products.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers on the sales floor when required, guiding them to products.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stock handling role.
