Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions.
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards with integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting each customer warmly and assisting with inquiries or locating products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, as well as contribute to general store tidiness.
- Assist customers with bagging groceries and other purchases, ensuring careful handling of items.
- Effectively resolve customer concerns or escalate them to management when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age verification for restricted items.
- Collaborate positively with fellow team members to foster a supportive and efficient work environment.
- Contribute to stocking shelves, merchandising products, and preparing the store for daily operations as needed.
