As a Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value individual and business clients. Your day-to-day will involve proactive engagement, understanding their unique financial needs, and recommending a comprehensive suite of banking products and services, including lending, deposits, investments, and wealth management solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and small to medium-sized business clients, building deep and lasting relationships.
  • Proactively identify client needs and provide tailored financial solutions, including lending, deposits, investments, and wealth management services.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team-based sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to portfolio growth and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess changing financial circumstances and recommend appropriate adjustments to their financial plans.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., Investment Advisors, Lending Specialists) to deliver comprehensive, integrated financial advice.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, economic conditions, and competitor offerings to provide informed advice.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and proposals to clients and senior management.
  • Participate in community and networking events to represent Commonwealth Bank and cultivate new business opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and grow a client portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of a broad range of financial products and services (lending, deposits, investments, insurance).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • High level of integrity and a strong client-centric approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
