Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew during all phases of flight, including pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures.
- Deliver exceptional in-flight service, including comprehensive meal and beverage service, with a focus on personalized attention and anticipating passenger needs.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight checks of cabin equipment, safety devices, and catering supplies to ensure operational readiness.
- Clearly and calmly communicate essential safety procedures, demonstrations, and announcements to passengers.
- Respond promptly and effectively to passenger inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a positive, comfortable, and inclusive experience for all.
- Manage and resolve in-flight situations, including medical emergencies, disruptive passengers, and minor technical issues, in strict accordance with company protocols and aviation regulations.
- Maintain a consistently professional appearance and uphold Qantas’ high standards of service, brand image, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow cabin crew, pilots, and ground staff to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including incident reports, customs forms, and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Adhere strictly to all aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards at all times to maintain the highest levels of safety and compliance.

- Valid passport with unrestricted travel capabilities to various international destinations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin, to better serve our diverse passenger base.
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in hospitality, aviation, healthcare, retail, or other customer-facing roles.
- Certification in First Aid and/or CPR.
- Knowledge of global cultures and international travel destinations.
- Tertiary qualification or higher education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
