Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor IT systems and networks, identifying and resolving minor issues proactively to prevent disruptions.
- Document IT support procedures, common issues, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and security initiatives.
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are followed meticulously according to company guidelines and best practices.
- Support the IT inventory management, including tracking assets, managing software licenses, and coordinating equipment repairs.
- Educate users on basic IT security best practices, system usage, and new technology implementations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and common office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing environments, and take on new challenges.
- Basic understanding of IT security principles.
