Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the Atlanta territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and medical staff.
  • Conduct compelling product presentations, utilizing clinical data and approved messaging to educate healthcare providers on GSK's pharmaceutical products.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and territory data to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure full compliance with all GSK policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales.
  • Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate and timely information.
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings, training programs, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including medical affairs, marketing, and market access, to optimize product promotion and support.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to management on market conditions, competitive activities, and customer needs.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful field sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
