Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and components for various applications, strictly adhering to Rolls-Royce engineering standards and specifications.
- Conduct detailed electrical analysis, sophisticated simulations (e.g., circuit analysis, power flow, thermal management), and thorough fault investigations.
- Develop and implement robust control algorithms and embedded software solutions for complex electrical systems.
- Perform comprehensive testing, rigorous verification, and stringent validation of electrical hardware and software, ensuring compliance with all performance and safety requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, external suppliers, and key customers throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, detailed test procedures, and precise design specifications.
- Actively participate in critical design reviews, providing expert technical input and ensuring ultimate design robustness and reliability.
- Identify and resolve complex electrical engineering issues through methodical root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cutting-edge research, and industry trends in electrical engineering and power systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in electrical system design, development, and integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium Designer).
- Strong fundamental understanding of power electronics, motor control, and embedded systems architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with comprehensive testing and debugging of electrical hardware.
