Job Description

In this critical role, you will play an instrumental part in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient flow of essential medicines from our manufacturing sites to patients who depend on them. You will be responsible for a wide array of activities, from strategic planning and forecasting to logistics coordination and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of pharmaceutical products.
- Develop, implement, and refine strategies for inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and supply planning processes.
- Collaborate extensively with manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
- Proactively identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., shortages, delays) and develop robust mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and foster strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other critical external supply chain partners.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GMP, GDP) and internal company policies and procedures.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and insightful presentations on supply chain performance, trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead or actively participate in various supply chain projects, including technology implementations, process enhancements, and new product introductions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, with a strong preference for experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong foundational understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and global logistics.
- Proficiency in SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced, and regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Supply Chain Management).
- Professional certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or Project Management (PMP).
- Direct experience with cold chain logistics and the handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
- In-depth knowledge of GxP regulations (GMP, GDP) and other relevant pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Proven project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
