Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large, complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI) to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, marketing teams, and other business units to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data models and database solutions to support analytical requirements.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes where applicable to improve efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and analytical techniques to continuously enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) in all data handling activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong command of at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python with Pandas/NumPy, R).
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
