Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of store associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory, including stock rotation, receiving, pricing, and replenishment to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
  • Assist in scheduling staff, managing breaks, and allocating tasks to optimize productivity.
  • Handle cash management, including till reconciliation, bank deposits, and maintaining financial records.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Support the Store Manager in implementing promotional activities and merchandising plans.
  • Open and close the store, ensuring security procedures are followed meticulously.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of local food safety regulations.
