Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, preparing necessary documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth integration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Assist in the coordination of training and development initiatives, including booking venues, arranging materials, and tracking participation.
- Respond to routine employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to senior HR staff when necessary.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of HR processes and employee engagement programs.
- Process HR-related documentation such as leave requests, performance review forms, and employee change forms.
- Organize and schedule HR meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Ensure compliance with FNBB's internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant labor laws and regulations in Botswana.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow.

- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices (gained through education or prior exposure).
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or willingness to learn new software.
- Knowledge of Botswana's labor laws and employment regulations.
