Job Description
We are urgently seeking dedicated and energetic Warehouse Operatives to join our new team in Downtown Orlando. This is a critical role within our logistics operations, essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be at the heart of our distribution efforts, responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our operations running seamlessly. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to strict quality and quantity standards.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory, maintaining accurate stock records.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and proficiently (training provided if needed).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly throughout a shift (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count stock, and follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (e.g., as a picker, packer, loader).
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other powered industrial trucks (certification a plus).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
