Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors during financial reviews.
- Support tax preparation and filing activities.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
