Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors during financial reviews.
  • Support tax preparation and filing activities.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
