Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex equipment malfunctions, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Execute corrective maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
- Proven proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and basic instrumentation repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with process control systems (DCS, PLC) and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines) and fixed equipment.
- Prior experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy manufacturing industry.
