Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational processes and supply chain technology.
  • Optimize logistics and transportation routes for efficiency and environmental impact.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or chemical industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools.
