Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational processes and supply chain technology.
- Optimize logistics and transportation routes for efficiency and environmental impact.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Professional certification such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent.
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or chemical industry.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks.
