Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from disparate sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform in-depth statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling to identify trends, correlations, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and data infrastructure enhancements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics, machine learning, and data governance.
  • Present analytical findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong experience with Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and scripting.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application to business problems.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
