Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, testing, and calibration of electro-mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems to engineering or supervisory staff as needed.
  • Maintain detailed production records, logs, and documentation for traceability and quality assurance.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality management system requirements (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to optimize processes and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain.
  • Assist in the training of new technicians and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
