Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, testing, and calibration of electro-mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems to engineering or supervisory staff as needed.
- Maintain detailed production records, logs, and documentation for traceability and quality assurance.
- Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality management system requirements (e.g., ISO standards).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to optimize processes and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- Assist in the training of new technicians and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
- Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
