Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, inspections, and enforce all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, quality control, and logistics, to optimize overall operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documenting output, quality metrics, and downtime.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide immediate solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and promote a culture of operational excellence.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
