Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in North Boulder, Boulder. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for products, processes, and systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, specific industry standards) and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into new product development.
  • Oversee inspection and testing procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Train and mentor production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Manage documentation related to quality systems, including specifications, procedures, and quality records.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or relevant field).
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • ASQ Certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSGB, CSSBB).
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to Siemens' product lines (e.g., UL, CE, IEC).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience working with global teams or international projects.
