Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues, escalating complex problems to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory and other enterprise systems.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and solutions in the IT service management system.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and self-help guides.
  • Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and procurement support.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required, contributing to system improvements and upgrades.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance support capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and IT service management (ITSM) software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or ITIL Foundation.

  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
