Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Centerra, Loveland. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and automation systems, including Siemens PLCs (e.g., S7 series), HMIs, and SCADA.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Implement corrective maintenance actions efficiently to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes of failures and propose long-term solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (e.g., TIA Portal, Step 7) and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, HMI, and SCADA technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Experience with industrial networks (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to fault finding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Adherence to safety standards and practices in an industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Siemens certifications in industrial automation or control systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
