Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex industrial automation and digitalization projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and robust risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and identify potential risks and issues, implementing timely and effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met, reporting on variances.
- Ensure strict compliance with Siemens' rigorous quality standards, safety regulations, and client contractual agreements.
- Facilitate effective communication and foster strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present regular, comprehensive project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in managing complex industrial automation or similar engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively and strategically.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PgMP, CSM).
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering or business field.
- Extensive experience with Siemens products and solutions (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, drives, industrial software such as TIA Portal, Comos, or XHQ).
- Prior experience in the manufacturing, energy, or process automation sectors.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles for process optimization.
- Experience with international projects or leading diverse cultural teams.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of market dynamics.
