Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and objectives related to lending products.
- Educate clients on available loan products, terms, and application procedures.
- Gather and analyze financial information, credit histories, and other relevant data to assess loan eligibility.
- Prepare and present loan proposals, ensuring clear communication of terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Process loan applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to facilitate smooth loan closings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster long-term client relationships.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, lending, or a sales-focused role.
- Strong understanding of lending products (e.g., mortgages, personal loans, HELOCs).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- NMLS registration or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Existing NMLS registration.
- Established network within the Laguna, Elk Grove community.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
