Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients, encompassing investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, and philanthropic giving.
  • Cultivate and expand a book of business through proactive client acquisition efforts, including networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses and risk assessments to tailor investment portfolios aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and investment performance, providing timely insights and adjustments to client strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., trust and estate, lending, insurance) to deliver integrated wealth management solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular client portfolio reviews, clearly communicating performance, market outlook, and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, compliance policies, and firm-specific guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional client service, acting as the primary point of contact for all financial needs and inquiries.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or private banking.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses are mandatory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in investment management, financial planning, and capital markets.
  • Proven ability to acquire, develop, and retain high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency with financial software and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or equivalent advanced certification.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with complex estate planning and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies.
  • Established network within the Thousand Oaks and surrounding Southern California affluent communities.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
