Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate information.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, escalating complex problems to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Educate customers on various banking products, services, and digital tools to enhance their financial literacy and experience.
- Process transactions, assist with account management, and guide customers through online banking features.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction goals and service excellence.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Bank of America's products and services.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
