Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability and risk.
- Monitor business activities to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues, complaints, and policy violations, reporting findings to senior management.
- Provide expert compliance advice and guidance to business units on new products, services, and operational changes.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and company policies.
- Stay abreast of changes in financial laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the firm and recommending necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and risk management teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to governance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, Dodd-Frank, Consumer Protection laws).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, FINRA Series licenses).

- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD).
