Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and business stakeholders.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasts, collaborating with various departments.
- Interpret financial data, identify key drivers of performance, and provide insightful commentary and recommendations.
- Support strategic initiatives through ad-hoc analysis, due diligence, and financial impact assessments.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, complying with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, product, and sales teams to understand business drivers and financial implications.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or similar role.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Essbase, Anaplan).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Progress towards CFA or CPA certification.
- Experience within the financial services industry, particularly banking or investment management.
